Dr. Raymonda Rastegar is a board certified cardiologist who is affiliated with the NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Rastegar received her medical degree from The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She continued her training at Mount Sinai as a medical resident and fellow in cardiovascular diseases. Following her fellowship, Dr. Rastegar became the co-director of echocardiography and non-invasive cardiology at Beth Israel Medical Center, North Division. She then established her private practice in midtown Manhattan where she currently is co-director of Heartwise Cardiology.
Dr. Rastegar’s expertise encompasses general and noninvasive cardiology and preventive care. She is a board certified in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. She has annually been named to the New York Times Super Doctors of New York.
Dr. Rastegar continues her academic endeavors by actively teaching medical students and residents at the NYU medical center. She remains on the cutting edge of cardiology with her involvement in clinical research studies including dyslipidemia and coronary artery disease.
